I’m always looking for ways to save my family money to help us get through current higher food and gas prices and achieve our big financial goals. There’s a better chance the healthy food will get eaten if it’s prepped, and it saves time on weekday mornings. I like to reuse them for lunches/snacks.

My Word for 2019

Family Balance Sheet

Our main financial goal is to pay off our last non-mortgage loan. It was a goal in 2018, but high medical bills and other financial challenges hindered our progress. The author, Bea Johnson, chronicles her journey of zero waste living through 5 Rs: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot. My word for 2019 is REDUCE.

2019 100
