While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. However, at the register, the shoes rang up at $29.99–there was an additional mark down on clearance! I earned a free turkey from my regular grocery store, GIANT of PA.

My favorite thrift store has a section dedicated to seasonal items. The number and variety of Halloween items in this thrift store surprised me. Trick or treating in the 50’s was bounded by a 2 or 3 block range of neighbor’s (whom we knew) homes.
