For 20 or so years I’ve been homeschooling my kids, and am now down to about 1 1/2 (one full-time homeschooler, and one doing College Credit Plus with some support). How did you get interested in saving money? What’s the “why” behind your money-saving efforts? Maybe four years?

I’m a long-distance cyclist, a triathlete, a wife, a mother of two, a sister, a daughter, a friend, DIY-er, and a community member! How did you get interested in saving money? And barring one job I had as a young mother, I never have.
