In Huffington Post article Boomers Give New Meaning To Spoiling The Grandkids author Linda Stern reported: “Roughly 36 percent of the grandparents surveyed by AARP said “spoiling (grand)children by buying them too much” was a part of a grandparent’s financial role.”. It’s my grandkid!”.

Electronics – I’ll be traveling during the holidays with the grandkids – this portable player is cheap enough to get them both one to keep them quiet on the trip! Toys & Games – My grandson’s birthday was this past weekend and he is into all things Avengers. I’m glad I found this!

I am over a thousand miles away from my mom, and I feel bad that she can’t see me and her grandkids more often. I’m essentially an only child now, and I do feel some pressure in this role. Though my mom is healthy now, I do worry about what might happen when she gets older. What’s your opinion?

And you can make a game out of it for the kids. Too bad the grandkids are too small to read and execute their assignments, and I’m pretty sure my daughter is not going to take the assignment of folding my clothes! Now that’s one kind of laundry we can get behind. The interface is easy and intuitive to navigate.

My grandkids were 6 and 3 and they really got into this! Playing games on family game night. Play board and online games that teach money or finance or business concepts. My Favorite Online money games for kids of various ages. We used real coins and Monopoly bills and their toys as store merchandise. Kids Money.

Although I saved a few of my own children’s toys over the years, when the grandkids came along, I wanted to renew my toy stock so they would have things to play with when they come. Board games for Money Camp $4 each. A few of the finds at sales inlcude: 50 Hotwheel cars for $5 for the lot.
