We have led 7 sessions of Financial Peace University mostly to keep ourselves motivated. We sold extra items that we weren’t using through Craigslist and garage sales. When you can agree on a common goal then you both be very excited and motivated to get the debt paid off. We sold our house so now we are on Baby Step 4!

We also told them that they were going to need to earn their spending money for souvenirs during our beach vacation this year and that became their motivation. An example of our ad placed on Craisglist: Willis Pointe Community Yard Sale, Sat. I see many ads on Craigslist that are very vague and just say, "community yard sale".
