I have found that garage sales , flea markets , estate sales or Mom/Grandma’s basement are the best places to score a great deal on used canning jars. The best place to find used canning accessories cheaply is eBay , although sometimes you can get lucky and spot some items at garage sales , too.

This used to be a common occurrence with a shoe repair shop on every main street. Store food properly to make it last as long as possible. Avoid re-decorating your home every few years.
