If you need to run to the bank, the grocery store, or the mall, you can try to run all of those errands on the same day instead of separate days, and this will reduce your overall gas consumption. Also, when you are shopping for groceries and household items, try to get everything at one store. It will save you a lot of gas.

Manual cars are generally cheaper than automatic and have better gas mileage because they are lighter weight). It’s not hard for me (anymore) to avoid expensive stores or fast fashion sites such as Shein and Temu, and instead shop at thrift stores or use my local BuyNothing group. This is recent.

I know gas prices are on the rise so now might be a good time to do things to help your gas mileage like getting your tires rotated and properly filled, changing your air filter, getting an oil change with the recommended oil grade for your vehicle and doing a general tune-up.
