There weren’t any McDonald’s but there were Steak and Shake and White Castle’s here and there. Coupons were in the newspaper. The Sunday newspaper was the best source to get them. Gasoline stations did not serve food, have coffee or provide bath rooms. Food/shopping. People cooked and ate at home.
