Five Frugal Things | on a Monday!

The Frugal Girl

I fixed Zoe’s red sweatshirt She works at Target, so she either has to wear a red Target vest or a red shirt, and I’m proud to say that she has thrifted a bunch of her red tops. I will say, GenZ is not afraid to thrift, and I love that! I found some red thread in my sewing box. And then I set up my sewing machine.

Five Frugal Things | bare minimum haircut

The Frugal Girl

We fixed Zoe’s skirt with scissors She’d thrifted this checked skirt, which had a sort of odd belt thing at the bottom. The buckle was very poorly-designed and would not ever stay in place (which is probably why this skirt ended up at the thrift store in the first place!) What frugal things have you been up to?

Five Frugal Things | A lunch-y edition

Five Frugal Things | So, my tire had a hole

The Frugal Girl

You could sew the sock shut (and maybe one day I will), but the advantage of a rubber band closure is that you can just pop off the outer sock and wash it when it gets dirty. I fixed Zoe’s skirt She’d thrifted this long skirt (so 90s!) So, I got out my sewing machine and did a quick repair for her.
