The family that we “adopted” was a grandmother (I will call her Tanya, but not her real name) and her 3 grandkids. She was so appreciative for the food and gifts and I was thankful that I could help. Our kids sensed something was different. We weren’t in Kansas anymore. Our eyes met and we both started to cry.

Favorite Foods Grandkids. Certainly not all that I need to lose to be a healthy person, but a relatively significant amount. Enough that my clothes were, if not hanging off me, looking large. Pants too full, shirts too loose, even my underwear began to sag (which is a very weird feeling). Time to clean out the closet!
