I planted some green onion ends I saved the root ends of two green onions that were in my veggie drawer, let them sit in water for a day or two, and then stuck them in the dirt in one of my outside pots, where they will grow new green onion tops. I decided homemade crackers are not at all worth the effort.

This compound can be found in many plants , some of which can be commonly found growing nearby. Salicylic acid is astringent, but so are other plant constituents, like tannins. While many plants contain salicylic acid, or tannins, or sometimes both, not all of them are suitable for use.

Here’s a little sampling to close out this post. Unfortunately, I did not get the scuffed table all finished. But it is next on my list when I get a minute. Incidentally, I have painted SO MUCH FURNITURE with Cloud White. Benjamin Moore Cloud White Furniture I finished a piece of furniture!

Not all farmers at the markets are certified organic (it’s VERY expensive to get that certification) but they do still grow their food without chemicals or added hormones. Alternatively, you could grow your own organic produce, but that’s a lot of work that most don’t want to do. And we all know we don’t need more crap. Sweet Corn.
