Of course, this only works if you don’t also have a mountain of laundry over there. Well, as I was taking a shower yesterday, I was thinking how glad I am to have consistent hot water now! A cool shower is wonderful in July, but in December, I want some steamy water. ? What are you thankful for this week?

There are ways around this type of issue when you live in a condo, but just be aware of the potential for an issue. One thing that I can say about single family homes on a larger lot is that they are a lot of work. Many people don’t want the extra work that you must put into a single family home with a large lot.

My spouse and I are currently pondering this issue. What will be an issue if you stay another 10 – 15 years? Will you be safer, happier, closer to work, healthier? Will the home and area still suit you in 10 – 15 years or will there be too much yard work or too long of a drive to shops and services?

Not everyone is cut out to be a landlord or landlady. The seller may decide to keep the sale by providing funds or fixes for some or all of the issues found. However, we have not been able to claim that loss due to the overly complex and landlord unfriendly income tax laws we now have. I didn’t – do you?
