Well, I signed up for 2 of the 3 I need to complete which are to take place this weekend and one other weekend in February. Well, plans have had to change. Being Frugal tells us how we can rock the thrift stores. for Week of January 3-January 7/11- Headed Overseas Edition. The goal was to be certified by summer.

Sometimes, as we shop we see things we would like to own and decide to treat ourselves with a gift or two as well. So, hey, I guess I can take the tax reduction next year as well as this! Practically every site I checked recommended waiting to buy brand name TVs until the electronics show in mid-January takes place. I know I do.

This past winter I cleaned out closets and drawers in my quest to minimize and downsize our stuff and donated everything to the thrift store, rather than hold on to it for the spring sale. Oh well, I thought–I can sleep in that weekend. January 2021 – I found $1681. My husband had other ideas. He wanted to set up a sale.

Choose Thrift First. I have made a pact with myself that if I don’t already own something that I need, I will either: make do with what I have, find said item at a thrift store, borrow, or forget about it. If we’re successful, life WILL be different in January 2017…for the better. I think I’ll survive.
