In my living room, I have two floor lamps from my other house, and then I’ve got this free lamp from Facebook Marketplace: And I’ve also got this one that came in a set of lamps I bought on Facebook Marketplace. Do the lamps match? Here’s the long history of this little table!

A nice thing about using the same paint over and over is that this shelf is exactly the same shade of white as Zoe’s bed, which I painted several years ago when I took apart Sonia and Zoe’s bunkbeds. I primed it… I did use a drop cloth! Now we’re getting closer! That’s the beauty of buying used!

I do have other posts in the offing, but they’re not quite ready yet! The Christmas tree was where that lamp is I like Christmas decorations, but I also really, really love the feeling of having everything clean and tidy and back to normal. Or do you feel a little sad/wistful when they’re gone for the year?

Lately though, I’ve begun to re-consider. The free item needs too much re-furbishing. I took it apart (which took about an hour) and am stripping the paint off the iron (think at least one can of paint stripper) and then will spray with Rust-oleum – and I just found out that the cans I thought I had had been used on lamps!
