While I am not that thrifty, and I love prettily wrapped gifts, I don’t like to spend a bunch on wrappings. For small packages, find interesting magazine pages to use in wrapping. Do you have some leftover wall paper you won’t be using? Here are some thoughts on ways to save money when you wrap this years gifts.

Don’t be a Buy-It-New Snob

Glass leftover containers 3 for $.75. I don’t like to use plastic bags or throwaway containers for my leftovers – glass seems much cleaner. Oak magazine rack – never used – $.50. If purchased new, I would have paid well over $150 for this sturdy one. I have a 2′ x 2′ blanket case filled with rolls of it.
