She also scarfed up any other gift wrap that looked usable, and she stored it carefully away for use the next year. While I am not that thrifty, and I love prettily wrapped gifts, I don’t like to spend a bunch on wrappings. For small packages, find interesting magazine pages to use in wrapping. Use those as well.

I also occasionally get to encourage young entrepreneurs by purchasing their wares (usually soda or lemonade but sometimes more ambitions products as well). Here is a short list of some of my favorite finds at garage, estate and thrift store sales. I let them sit in the sun for several days as well to let the sun disinfect them.
