I also find that a good setting spray for my makeup gets it to last all day long, with minimal touch-ups. I don't want to find that all my makeup melted off halfway through a 12-hour bout of sightseeing where I'm taking public transport. You want to look good in pics. I don't need a lot of any of these things, but I still need them.

I had a second, smaller, packing cube for my underwear, socks (including a pair of compression socks), and I put my makeup mirror on top before zipping it all up. This is my entire makeup palette though. Here's what I ended up with for clothes and the smaller bag above them is for my charging cords.

Did I use this makeup product? Each trip, I would cut things that I traveled with before and never used. Having a packing list certainly helped with that. Did I wear these shoes? They were out. It stayed home. Was this dress functional? Not at all.

A portable Lighted Makeup Mirror is a must for those dark hotel rooms or when someone else is in the bathroom and you're trying to get ready. I always have one in my travel bag, because sometimes we just want to unwind while doing laundry and want to watch mindless TV.
