Over the weekend, during a family visit, I had a conversation with one of my nephews – a thirty something husband, father and CFO of a small company. This is what I would have become had I decided to go ahead and fund my nephews development plans. They may invest as much a million in promising companies.

I know Fourth of July isn’t a traditional card buying holiday but if you have a service member in your family you may want to consider sending them a card. I’m sure he will love the patriotic card and new pictures of his cute nephews. I am sure they would appreciate it. I’m making one for my brother-in-law.

Rental management companies may not distribute rental days evenly. Family members may not use it as much as anticipated. After offering to let a nephew and his family use the condo once, I was frequently afterwards hit up (or hinted at) to allow use, free of charge, multiple times. This really took a bite out of our income.
