This is the first rule of real estate, right? We wanted a one story house because my mom will be visiting and has trouble with her knees. We wanted a four bedroom house because both my husband and I work from home part-time. Money Tips' Here are the lessons we learned: Location Matters.

Her Dad died, and she continued to live with her Mom. Mom continued to support her she too died. While continuing to live a relatively frugal lifestyle, she continued to live off of Mom (through her inheritance). Although friends tried to help by offering part time employment, she was unable to keep a paying job.
