I understand that finding a New York City apartment with the perfect mix of location, cleanliness, safety, and price is difficult, but if you want to live here long term, you have to be willing to make concessions and find a sustainable balance. I used to live in Weehawken, New Jersey, a twenty minute commute from midtown Manhattan.

The point of this isn’t to bash my friend, I love her and to be fair, she’s just following the example set by the “norm” around her, (this is Northern New Jersey, NYC suburbs, I realize the norm is different depending on where you live, your culture, background, etc).

California and New Jersey are huge markets for small turbine manufacturers. From a residential perspective, small wind turbines are taking off in windier parts of the country. More wind, more power. The gusty Midwest is the fastest growing market. However, economics drive real demand in the U.S.

It was in the suburbs of New Jersey, across the bridge from where I was living in Pennsylvania. The salary was good but it was a temp-to-hire position. All of it was pretty positive stuff. Then there was the second job.

It is to consist of a private stretch limo ride to Atlantic City (from Northern New Jersey) for a night on the town (which as I was told, is to involve dinner and clubbing). The bachelorette party is in Mid March.
