While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. If I’m buying new jeans, it’s either from Gap or Old Navy since both offer TALL length jeans. I won’t need to buy jeans for a few years. $20 Yes, please!

I decided to go up to my parents house yesterday to go thrift shopping with my mother (shopping and some quality family time. I love thrift shopping!! Tags: Thrift Shopping. I have been DYING to go shopping (not like I need anymore clothes haha ), but I don't really want to spend a lot of money right now. two great things!).

The icing on the cake was when I was leaving Maine on my way home to Boston, I stopped at this awesome thrift store right before I got to the highway in York. My beige heels, new thrifted ivory belt and ivory bracelet brings the outfit all together PERFECTLY!! I am back from my amazing trip to Maine. This place was heaven!!

So I looked at thrift stores. I’d rather wait until we are in a place financially where I can just go to Barneys and get fitted and find THE jeans, than continue to try on pair after pair at the second hand stores, Old Navy and Target. It had to be COZY looking (and feeling!) It was a mission.

Look for second-hand stores near your child’s school for a greater chance of getting the exact items you need on your back to school shopping list.
