While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. My favorite pair had a hole in an unseemly place and my other favorite pair came with holes, and neither is appropriate for work. I won’t need to buy jeans for a few years. $20 Yes, please!

Last night a company that my husband does occasional contract work for hosted an outdoor dinner and concert. No worries, I plan on a lot of after work Diet Red Bulls to get me through tonight. This is one of those rare and elusive outfits that I will wear to work today, then wear out tonight. I think this is probably my favorite of my husband’s thrift finds, ever. Jacket, Vintage, Thrifted Hoodie, Old Navy Jeggings, ANA at JCPenny Booties, Target Handbag, SMAK. I’m going to a party at a friend’s house.

Pairing this jacket with dark denim jeans not only works, but opens up a whole new section of my wardrobe to wear it with. It takes it from a work piece to a weekend piece and even an evening out piece. I don’t think you look at it and think “Texas Tuxedo” but Ladies and Gentleman that is EXACTLY what it is.

~ Those are the result of sitting cross legged in my chair at work. Blouse, Target Denim Leggings, Target Shoes, Old Navy Chains, Thrifted Earrings, self made I knew when I was doing it, it would mean that I had to launder those pants (I do not wash every time I wear), but I did it anyway. So I still wore them!

I spend most of the day right now working the floor, which means direct interaction with customers and lots of back and forth between the dressing room and racks. Jacket, Old Navy Smiths shirt, Everything English Shorts, Wal-Mart Tights, ? Boots, Docs, thrifted Watch, Swatch Bead bracelet, self made. I learned a lot.
