Unfortunately, many of us head out to the grocery stores armed with nothing but our credit card and a rough idea of what we need. There are a million hacks on how to clean various surfaces in your home using them; all you have to do is research. For example, you can clean your marble surfaces using dishwashing soap and some warm water.

Upon more online research, my husband felt the new repair would be beyond his ability, so we started looking on Craigslist. April’s Thrift Store Finds. My next stop was my favorite thrift store, Community Aid. They have 50% off the entire store every Wednesday. Total Savings: $300. Savings: $20.

I think I have become pretty darn good at it, and I will even haggle successfully at big chain stores like Macy’s, Home Depot, and Best Buy. Whenever I go into a furniture store I will immediately ask the sales associate what is the best price he/she could give me on whatever item I’m interested in. Look For Imperfect Items.

I feel like I made a lot of trips to the thrift store to donate our stuff, but my house will tell you otherwise. We will work on those things, but in 2020, my big goal is to focus on reading and researching strategies and ideas. We will continue to work through that plan, but 2020 is the year of reading and researching for me.

It only took a few seconds of online research to discover the Gentle Leader head collar. We found the best price for the Gentle Leader Headcollar at Amazon (that is my affiliate link) at around $8 less than the big box pet store. The girls and I hit my favorite thrift store this week. As usual, I found some great deals.
