Hubby retired in July 2007. Lesson Four – Deal with Company Retirement Plans. I did deal with this one as soon as possible by moving it in kind to a taxable IRA – so I could take advantage of the Net Unrealized Value taxation rules. I’m retired! I have been since April 7, 2010. At my last company, we had two plans.
