Michi's dance-theatre piece, Rescue Me , was produced at the Ohio Theatre by Ma-Yi in 2010. She has taught at Columbia, NYU, and MIT and is currently on the faculty at Purchase College. These playwrights are changing the landscape of American Theater to redraw the boundaries for what it considers part of the American canon.
