My new mission was to manage our money to make sure we used it wisely and stretched it as far as possible. After 20 years, I switched from Quicken software to You Need a Budget (YNAB) software in 2018 for our household. Create our family’s financial goals and Debt Freedom Plan. After motherhood, this role was my dream job!

Unfortunately, we did not hit that goal and in part, have made some major changes to our Debt Freedom Plan. This new strategy had us looking in the same direction with regards to our financial future and my husband was on board. The student loan should be paid off by the end of 2018. Our goal is still debt freedom.
