I used coupons and shopped through the Rakuten portal and got a lot of deals at their favorite stores. They always have a big sale on their store brand flour, sugar, brown sugar, chocolate chips. We decided to donate the turkey to the food bank. I made homemade applesauce when the orchard was having an end of season sale.

Over the years, I have found money through rebates, refunds, online sales, and even the ground. In January 2020, we booked round-trip flights to Paris for the four of us. Neither my husband nor I have been to Europe so this was a big deal and we were very excited to be able to take our kids on such a trip.
