Since November is always a big month for sales and coupons and the beginning of the cold season, I do most of my winter clothing shopping during this month. While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. Yes, please!

Over the years, I have found money through rebates, refunds, online sales, and even the ground. Yard Sale: $87. There was a time where we made hundreds of dollars at our yard sales. In fact, I found an old blog post of mine recently where I shared how I made over $300 at our annual neighborhood yard sale! Rakuten: $11.31.

The math: I stock up when I see a box of 72 Tetley decaffeinated tea bags on sale for $2.50 and a box of 20 Celestial Seasonings tea bags on sale for $2.50. When on sale, it costs me about 50 cents to make a pitcher of iced tea vs. at least $2.50 for store-bought iced tea. I keep a list of things to look when thrifting.
