We took my Mom with us to Florida in the 1980’s. Sure, maybe your parents say they are funding the trip – but that might just mean airfare, lodging and an allowance for meals. But, we are the first generation (that I know about) to include grandparents, parents and grandchildren (and sometimes even the great-grandparent).
