I biked to the library, to the mall, to the TCBY, to visit my parents at their offices in the university, to the pool, basically everywhere a kid would want to go. K and Finn (my parents dog) 12. For 20 or so years I’ve been homeschooling my kids, and am now down to about 1 1/2 (one full-time homeschooler, and one doing College Credit Plus with some support). Eventually, when I was married and working at a library I ordered my own copy of the Complete Tightwad Gazette–and I still have it! Maybe four years?
