Step 2: (Optional) Paint the other sides of the wooden piece’s orange. Step 3: (Optional) Mix a brown paint with the orange to make a darker orange shade. Paint lines to simulate pumpkin ridges. I re-purpose them by painting the outsides white using ordinary acrylic wall paint and a brush. (I I paint them all white to create a more uniform look.) The paint is usually left over from home projects or from cans of mistake-paint bought from the hardware store for a dollar or two (or less).

Arrange cups of crayons, stickers, or other craft supplies around the tables and let each child draw and color to their heart’s content. However, if it looks a bit lackluster, spray it with a coat of glitter paint, or spread on some glue, then sprinkle glitter or confetti over it. The same goes for cups and napkins.
