My Aunt and Uncle used to take each of their grandchildren on a trip when they reached the ripe old age of 8. Perhaps the parent’s allow the kids to use the couch as a trampoline and you heartily disapprove. That first grandchild is so exciting. Your kid is having a kid! It connects you to the future.
