Our long-term goal is to retire in our 40s, and the first step is to pay off this mortgage (in addition to recommended retirement investing). He wants to retire early so he can do more woodworking, electronic fixing, and maybe work at a winery or brewery part-time. Our dog I don’t plan to fully retire, either. This is recent.
