Cut it up, peel it, scrape it, bake it, then put it in the blender. Compost it by cutting it up and putting it on the pile. My daughter-in-law came up with this idea, buying bulk pumpkins and bulk flowers. We passed around pieces of food in the dark and told a story about how the pieces were parts of a body.
