I had two older siblings, but my sister passed away in a car accident in 2000 and my brother passed away from MS in 2020 so now I’m an only child. I’m pretty sure I always sang it as Grandmother’s house, which is weird since we actually went to my Grandfather’s house for holidays. My nieces, my daughter and I sing all the songs, loudly , to the annoyance of my brother and son-in-law. It is always a day I am thankful for. My sister-in-law is neutral.
