Americans historically have not haggled for better prices on most items. To keep up we need to learn that negotiation (aka haggling) is acceptable, expected and useful. We need to practice haggling. It was humiliating to have to haggle. Garage sales – need I say more? Build some rapport. Start the Haggle.
