Deep-clean carpets and maintain wood/tile floors. Basically, these are fire-proof, thin pieces of foam that reduce the air flow in/out of outlets, which in turn reduces your energy costs! Inspect all water lines at least monthly—in the refrigerator, faucet, disposal/dishwasher connections, etc. Insulate your outlets.
