Americans historically have not haggled for better prices on most items. To keep up we need to learn that negotiation (aka haggling) is acceptable, expected and useful. We need to practice haggling. We should convince ourselves that it is OK and that it doesn’t make us look cheap or bad. No Good Role Models.
