Garlick got all of her children’s clothes and gear from friends, family, and sites like Freecycle.

You don’t need to spend a lot on clothing, so consider shopping at thrift stores, yard sales, and even buy/sell groups online. Stick to the essentials like diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, crib + bedding, car seat, and clothing. If you really want that fancy stroller or monitor, ask for it.
