Acceptance rates for US colleges continue to drop year after year. Between 2017-2022, Boston College’s acceptance rate dropped from 32% to 16% and New York University's from 27.66% to 12.20%. Additionally, the cost of living between these two universities isn’t the only astronomical difference.
