Petroleum jelly to slather on the inside of the mold, so you can get the concrete out and reuse the mold. Some people suggest putting the mold on top of your washing machine as it goes through a couple of cycles, but I wouldn’t want the cement in the house – in case of spills (especially when working with kids on the project!).
