People opened their windows and used attic fans or sat in metal lawn chairs outside to cool off. Most telephones were on a party line (and yes the parties did ease drop on each other, but they also let us do ‘conference’ calls). Most of us did not have air conditioned homes. Some of us did not have central heat.

P.E.P. for the Week of January 24-28, 2010- Adjustment Edition

Plus, I am presenting at two conferences this month so I have to get ready for those. I must say I am a fan of shorter mortgages. Being Frugal tells us how we can rock the thrift stores. We also have to plan our itinerary, get our vaccines, and pack. Taking it now or in the summer is not a huge deal. Watson Inc.
