If you want to save money, one of the best options is to buy used. Not only can buying something second-hand help you save money, but it also reduces the amount of resources that you use. We bought a lot of our son’s onesies and other items (including a crib) at a consignment shop. Entertainment.

While the Salvation Army and Goodwill may require a bit more digging for quality wardrobe items, other consignment shops , like Second Time Around, have a strict pre-screening process. If the stigma of thrifting gets to you, remember, it’s not “used”, it’s “vintage”. Spend the evening trying on eachothers’ discards.
