We bought a lot of our son’s onesies and other items (including a crib) at a consignment shop. Garage sales, estate sales, and moving sales are all great places to look for used furniture. There are many consumer electronics items that you can purchase used. My husband and I purchased refurbished computers.

Sure I knew about the ‘White sales’ – the ones stores used to have in January on sheets and towels and such, but I really hadn’t a clue that there is a best time to buy many other things! However, I wait until spring and summer to buy decorations – and get them at garage sales. I know I do. Winter clothes.
