You no longer have to go to garage sales and flea markets to pick up these items. Borrow items. Just visit sites like Ebay, Amazon, and Craigslist.

Clothes dryers were around, but expensive. Line drying clothing saves dryer cycles. Some sources such as Laundry List.org claim that you can save $25 on your monthly electric bill (assuming you have an electric clothes dryer now) if you line dry your clothing. How to mitigate: Work to get the laws and regulations changed.
