I give away perfectly good electronics because they are ‘out of date’ – they don’t work with new software. The AARP article Fix What’s Broken, For Less claims that there are multiple repair cafes in the USA now, including some in New York City, Seattle, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Detroit and elsewhere.
