What a Wonderful Christmas!

I was up until 2:30am on Christmas Eve and my daughter and son-in-law were up until 3:30. After too many presents from parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and too many opening-present cookies, we took a break for some dinner. Luckily the kids didn’t get up early on Christmas morning. I slept until almost 9!

A couple years ago, my two teenage boys were no longer excited about making and decorating Christmas cookies. We can get free apples from my mom and uncle and we make it into applesauce – usually 60-80 jars. My son has a job at a local pizza place and he gets a free meal after every shift. One of four nightstands we made!
