Last week I visited a garage sale. As I looked around, the owner came up to me with a package of floral foam saying I should just take it for free. I didn’t feel obligated, but did end up buying another package of it at that sale! Of course, sometimes, the situation is actually true. Do you watch HGTV?

They kind of look like the ones for sale at Curious Country Creations. Plan ahead and hit garage sales, but especially estate sales. You can pick up beautiful decorations, wreaths, linens, trees and more at these sales. These make nice gifts too. Thrift stores are also a great place to shop.

I purchased a few packages of silver and lime green balloons for less than $1 each and some ribbon for $2 that we used to decorate with as well as for playing some of the games. I also used a package of cupcake liners that I bought on clearance for $0.59. for a 24 pk). Talk about perfect timing!
