I’m a 53-year-old mother of 2 (grown) and grandmother of 4. My daughter lives in California and we talk regularly. Searching for information on food waste led me here. So, the money was wasted, maybe. But I did learn some things that I find I use today. Here’s Ginger! Wow, time flies.

Also, we’re by a military base, so it’s a little easier to find houses to rent if you know when people will be PCSing out and needing to rent out their homes. And I am more conscious of eating leftovers and avoiding food waste. We always find free/inexpensive things to do on our trips, if we can.
