It was established as a national park in 1872 in the northwestern corner of Wyoming (with a bit of Montana and Idaho thrown in to boot). The one pass let us into all the national parks and monuments we visited free of charge. There are around 3500 square miles in the park, served by a loop road at least one hundred miles long.
